The 1985 Peavey "Mystic", is by far one of the better guitars I have heard, minus your high-end Fender/Gibson's. I'm a Drummer however I have played on my Brothers Mystic for many years. It has an incredible sound to this day, easy action and has been used for 100's of Shows across country. Anyone that can play would love the action and sound this badboy puts out. I must say my Brother left this, and a 1957 Telecaster to me when he passed away just over a year ago. You cannot go wrong buying a Mystic, however I would throw it into playing Metal, or nice Speed Shredding. Hopefully this helps anyone looking to purchase a Mystic, you just cannot go wrong here.
