SL 21 Samick (STC)

One of my first guitars and as I did not find much information about it on the net I´ll just lose a few words:

The guitar has a quite beautiful and solit mahogany body and a mahogany-coloured neck (not quite sure what wood the neck is made of, but it looks good). the neck is quite slim and the fretboard is slim as well.

the tuners are not that good, the guitar needs to be tuned quite often, the bridge is "ok" but is, as you could expect it on a quite cheap guitar, very simpleand not that beautiful. however, it matches the look of the guitar very well.

the finishing is quite nice, I got one in black and you can see the wood below it through the finish, which looks really good! there is a switch on the neck side and two knobs. the knobs are quite ok, work very well (even after all those years) but are not *very* accurate.

the body has an extraordinary good sound for such a cheap guitar. the humbuckers are a big surprise! they sound loud and clear all over the fretboard, but they buzz a bit when you use alot of distortion without filters.

all in all it´s a great guitar and I still play it, although I´m not sure if I would use it on a live gig as it tends to get out of tune quite quickly. with a few adjustments it can do even that and to all of you that can get that guitar cheap, get it. it really has a nice sound.
