Richard Bruné made his first guitar in 1966, in part from his parents' dining room table. A career which began as a flamenco guitarist soon evolved into guitar making and a shop based at 800 Greenwood Street in Evanston. Bruné was one of the founding fathers of the Guild of American Luthiers (www.luth.org) and its first elected president. His work has been displayed by many major museums. Bruné also lectures and is a regular contributor to Vintage Guitar Magazine.
