DAKOTA ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC

DAKOTA C1 COUGAR

The Dakota C1-Cougar was a dreadnought style acoustic with a single rounded cutaway and solid Englemann spruce top. Dakota Guitars' acoustic designs combined traditional craftsmanship with high tech computer aided design. The guitars were made in Asia for distribution in the USA by Sound Trek Distributors of Tampa, Florida. The Dakota models were named after rare American animals (buck, big-horn, wolf, cougar, eagle and grizzly). Each had an abalone bound headstock with a snowy mountain inlay.
