Abernethy Guitars are made in Guadalupe, California by Jason Abernethy. He start making guitars in 1999 - first as a guitar tech in a local store and then with Gene Baker - where he made high end electric guitars. Over the following years he made guitars for Baker, Ernie Ball, National Resophonic, Fine Tuned Instruments and Premier Builders Guild. Aberrnethy set up his own company in 2013 and he specializes in high end offset electric guitars (like the Sonic Empress model) with many pickup, hardware and finish options.
