Boot Arreola first started out making guitars, mandolins, and ukes by learning from gifted luthier, Baron Martin, the owner of Frets & Necks in El Paso, Texas. When Arreola moved to Hartsville he opened his own business under the name, Frets & Necks South Carolina. In 2008 he founded the B.A. Ferguson guitars brand. He now lives back in his hometown of El Paso, where he still builds acoustic and electric B.A. Ferguson guitars.
