Stephen Cyr started building guitars while still in high school. Around 2000 Cyr buying up ready made necks and bodies on E-bay and putting together guitars for sale. By 2002 Cyr was making his own necks and bodies and launched the Oakhurst series of instruments. In 2005 Cyr introduced a line of acoustic guitars and basses
