Information:

Sim Daley was born in England and grew up in a small Cornish fishing village. Somewhere along the way he developed a taste for Bluegrass music and from 1992 to 1995 he played banjo in the band Wild Turkey. He then moved to the USA where in 1996 he married fiddle player and vocalist Renee Radeke.

While in the USA he established Daley's Instrument Company repairing mandolins and guitars, working on instruments for some of the finest musicians. The knowledge gained from working with such players as Adam Steffey, Dan Tyminski, Sam Bush, Ronnie McCoury, Roland White, Aubrey Haynie, as well as considerable time spent studying the Loar period F-5's, led Sim to open his own shop and build guitars and mandolins. Sim's instruments were played by the likes of Dan Tyminski and Adam Steffey.

Circa 2017 Daley had moved back to England and was concentrating more on acoustic guitar building - offering two dreadnought models the SD-18 with Mahogany back and sides and SD-28 with Rosewood back and sides.
