After graduating from high school, Daniel Stark completed an year's internship in Stephan Schlemper's guitar-making workshop. A special inspiration in this initial phase and later was the life and work of Antonio de Torres.He then completed a 4-year course (2002-2006) at the University of Applied Sciences for Musical Instrument Making in Markneukirchen (master: Armin Gropp / Christoph Sembdner) and graduated with diploma. In 2006 Daniel opened his own workshop in Friedrichsfehn, near Oldenburg in Germany. He specialises in classical guitars but offers many variations including double top and jazz nylon stringed models.
