Jérôme Casanova is a French luthier who got his training certificate in guitar making from ITEMM (European Technological University for Music) in 1994. He has trained under Marc Lucas, Jean-Pierre Malherbe, Joël Laplanne, Christian Magdeleine, Daniel Sinier de Ridder and Françoise Sinier de Ridder. He opened his own workshop in 2003 in Clemont Ferrand where he specialises in building and restoring guitars - making three or four guitars (classical, contemporary or copies of ancient models) each year.
