Andrew Mowry has been making instruments full time since 2004. Mowry specializes in archtop instruments and makes mandolins and guitars in the high desert of Bend, Oregon. He began building musical instruments at a young age and has been a student of traditional woodworking for many years, using ancient to modern techniques in his shop. He also developed the WARBL - a midi controller for traditional whistle and bagpipe players and the MintySynth an Arduino-compatible synthesizer/sequencer/audio experiment kit that fits neatly in an Altoids tin.
