Vincente Carrillo is a seventh generation guitar maker, the Carrillo family have been making guitars since 1744. His extensive experience & skill led to the Regional Craftsmanship Award in 2009 and the National Craftsmanship Award in 2010. His guitar making style is influenced by various schools, most importantly the Madrid school. Despite his grounding in the traditional classical and flamenco construction techniques he employs innovation in his guitars using different construction techniques to adapt them to the requirements of each professional. He strives to make guitars with a special sound, achieving the optimal balance between strong basses and sweet sounding trebles.
