So ... i have been playing acoustic guitar for 20 years, have owned a Taylor, a Seagull, couple of top Normans St40 and St68, a Tacoma DM9, a Furch D22CM and i have also owned 4 Garrisons a G20, a G40, a G41 and a G50. I have kept the best of these which are the Garrison G41, G50, Norman ST68, Tacoma DM9 and Furch D22. Suffice to say that the Garrison G50 is about the best sounding guitar i own, for balanced sound with lots of top end overtones, and full bass. I picked mine up for around £400 which is silly money for a top end all solid acoustic guitar. To give you an idea of how good this guitar is, let me just say: I used to frequent guitar shops and spend time with the guitars priced in the £1000-£2000 price bracket. These days with the aforementioned collection, i can honestly say that anything Martin or Taylor or other can offer at the £1500 price bear no comparison to the likes of the guitars i now own such as the Garrison G50. As i write there is a Garrison G50 on ebay for £340 ...its been there for a year and no one wants it because it is a lesser known make. unbelievable!
