Hi. I have 2 Super 400'S, a 175, an L-5 Lee Ritenour, Gretsch White Falcon, a 335, and numerous Les Pauls, &tc : The point is that this Guild-Benedetto has the most astonishing sound ( is maybe tied with 1 Super 400) , the hands down best acoustic sound ; I have to turn it up loud to hear the amplified sound over the acoustic sound of what is sitting in my lap. The scale length is a challenge, as is the neck width or radius or something, it is all adaptable. I traded a Lincoln MARK VIII with 50,000 miles, and some cash for this guitar, and have never looked back. The only comparable experience in my 66 years of playing was my first "real" guitar. I tried to find "THE" sound for a year, and gave up - nothing sounded like my teacher's guitar - so she sold me her Guild. If you ever get a chance to own one, consider it seriously, they are RARE (around 80 made) and are utterly superlative in sound.
