LINDERT DIESEL S reviews

Basically this is a Bass VI copy with some mild departures. First off, it's a 28" scale that can be tuned to baritone or Bass VI (1 octave below standard) depending on strings. There are 2 single coil and a humbucker pickups, plastic covers like an EMG but no active preamp. Controls are a 5 way switch and volume/tone. It's a heavy guitar, over 10#, with a peculiar offset neck profile that Lindert originally thought was going to be easier to play. I like it OK. Sounds are decent-a little brighter and thinner than a full scale bass but can definitely get low enough to be a "do it all" bass for a guitar player. And for those spaghetti western licks, it shines. It's a bit more flexible than the other version, which only has 2 single coil pickups.
