I have owned my blonde 1983 a10 for about 20 years. It has a Kahler flyer tremolo with a locking nut. Original power sustain pickups. It also has a 3 ply black/white/black pickguard. Have never seen one with pickguard. Which leads me to believe it was custom made for someone, via Kahler/locking nut/pickguard. It is the best most reliable guitar I own. Good quality, well constructed, plays and sounds great. Everything I could want in a guitar. From throaty to clean, high to low it never lets me down. Get one if you can find one.

Best guitar I own and I have many! Guild made a Burnside model that is a lot like my Washburn a-10. They were a made in the early 80's and they were a joint project between Guild and Fender. I have a 6 string Lance, a Blade, and a Lance bass with a Kahlor tremolo. This is a beautiful guitar. I'm glad they sound as good as they look.
