Production of the C-0 began in 1962 and ended in 1971. It was Gibson's most basic classical model, around 15000 were made in total. They may have laminate or solid mahogany back and sides. They have a gold Gibson decal on the headstock and top binding only. The C-0 was replaced by the C-100 in 1971.
