It's Dave Ellefson's fault and i'm glad it was..... A OG Jackson Bass (not a Fender one) bought new in 1997 from a local shop authorized Jackson dealer. Has a great set of pick ups and is very good at metal but can also cover rock, pop and blues very very well as is a P/J pup config. Its is very light and comfortable to play. For a performer bass the build quality of mine is 8 outta 10. She is completely stock all though, I have put Rotosound swing bass medium 95 75 60 40 on her leaving my action very high in standard E as came with 105 80 60 45 stock. Bridge is at the floor lol. Neck is still very nice all though over the years of play has changed colour from light to dark brown and have never had her re fretted and the rosewood fretboard is still good but a bit dry. Has a few marks and scratches here and the but the paint still shines and looks very purple under UV light. She retired from being played live in 2009 and was replaced by a Cort Artisan C4Z 2004 (another great bass) for live stuff but still gets used for recording and jamming.
