Information: 

Michael Collins started making guitars in 1977. He graduated from the Roberto Venn School of Luthiery in 1992. He built Harpsichords, and Fortepianos for the firm of Hubbard & Broekman Harpsichords in Boston for seven years, before resuming his love for guitar building. He began making reproductions of Selmer style instruments in 2002, and wrote a book describing that process which was published in 2006. He lives in Arizona, and is in the middle of creating a Selmer guitar building course for the Roberto Venn School of Luthiery. Circa 2017 his range included grande and petite bouche Selmer Gypsy Jazz style acoustics as well as an archtop based on the Lloyd Loar L5 of the 1920s.
