The Grandé brand was established by Jerry O'Hagan in 1975. Grandé brand acoustic guitars were imported from Japan for distribution in the USA by Leigh Distributing Company of Minneapolis. O'Hagan discontinued Grandé in 1978 to focus on producing his own electric guitars (like the Shark).
