The 68K and 69K were jumbo sized Hawaiian body acoustics with spruce tops and Brazilian rosewood back and sides. They were more highly decorated than the cheaper Oahu models with an abalone rosette, abalone body binding and a rosewood fingerboard had a vine inlay. The inlaid headstock was standard style (non-slotted). They came in natural finish only.Dates of manufacture are approximate.
According to Vintage Guitars Magazine price guide (2009) the value for a 68K or 69K in excellent condition is $3800 to $4200.
