RICKENBACKER 850 COMBORICKENBACKER manufactured the 850 COMBO between 1957 and 1960. It was a solid bodied electric guitar The first models in 1957 had a double coiled horse shoe magnet pickup at the bridge plus a chrome bar pickup at the neck. The bridge pickup was soon changed to a single coil horse shoe pickup. Several variations can be seen in this model, from different pickup combinations, different depths of top carve and some with through body neck joints. |
