The BS AVH was disontinued in 1999. The BS-AVH had offset rounded double cutaway solid alder body with a bolt-on maple neck. Scale-length was 25.5 inches and it had a 22-fret maple fingerboard with offset black dot inlays.
Hardware was a vintage style tremolo bridge, 3-a-side die-cast tuners, black hardware, 2 single coils and one humbucker Duncan-Designed pickups controlled by volume/tone (push/pull coil tap) controls and a 5-way selector switch. Solid inish options were black (BK), raid red (RA), or white (WH). There were also Berry-cicle (BEC), Cherry-cicle (CHC), Cream-cicle (CRC), Fudge-cicle (FUC), Grape-cicle (GRC), Lemon-cicle (LEC), and Lime-cicle (LIC) sunburst finishes.
