The Washburn Steve Stevens (SS models) Series was developed with Steve Stevens (best known for his work with Billy Idol) in the early 1990s. The SS models are poplar bodied H-H superstrats with Floyd Rose tremolos. The affordable one was the Korean made SS-40. The SS-80 and SS-100 were made in the Washburn USA Custom Shop - the SS-100 notable for its Frankensein's Monster graphics.
