Jasper Boerma started Aspe guitars in 1998, in the Netherlands.  Before starting Aspe he worked in various guitar shops, colaborated with other guitar builders, and played in several blues/rock bands. He has since relocated to Almoharín, Spain where he continues to make and repair electric guitars and amplifiers.
