Paolo Coriani is an Italian luthier who makes classical and acoustic guitars as well as hurdy gurdies. Coriani began his appretinceship in the Masetti workshop in Modena, where he worked until 1980. He opened his own workshop in 1984. Although initially specialising in hurdy gurdies, Coriani studied guitar construction in the 1980s and 1990s and is now a prize winning guitar maker who lectures in guitar construction.
