Information:

Demian was a Japanese stringed instrument brand owned and made by the FujiGen company of Matsumoto, Nagano.  Demian was introduced in the early 1960s by FujiGen president Mr Mimura, who was inspired to choose the brand name by Hermann Hesse's novel "Demian". The first Demian products were classical guitars but the range expanded to include electric guitars, basses and banjos. The Demian brand was discontinued by Fujigen around 1965.
