The Lincoln Guitar Company was established by Derek Asuan-O’Brien, who has been building and repairing stringed instruments since around 2005. He apprenticed with Jason Burns of Blast Cult, making Double Basses, Cellos, and Archtop Electric Guitars.  He also built guitars for Michael Spalt of Spalt Instruments, and Matthew Needham of Needham Guitars. Lincoln Guitars currently offers a series of Semi-Hollow Electrics, with references to Vintage Japanese Aesthetics and 1950’s trestle bracing, all instruments are handmade in Austin, Texas. In the 1960s & 1970s some Lincoln branded instruments were made in Japan.
