Eric Monad has been making and repairing instruments since the 1970s but began making flamenco guitars in 1992 - when his daughters were learning flamenco dancing. He now makes mostly classical guitars using a Romanillos body shape with a modified Miguel Rodriguez bracing pattern. He also builds double top guitars in the style of Wagner and Dammann.
