Teye guitars are made by Teije Wijnterp, Wijnterp was born in the Netherlands and worked as a professional guitarist before his guitar making career. Teye guitars are highly decorated and often feature etched metal plates as used by Tony Zemaitis. The guitars were originally made in Austin, Texas but the factory has since moved to Nashville.
