This is one of around 15 Bunker Pro Line basses made in the late 1970s. Dave Bunker is a prolific guitar inventor, a pioneer of touch style playing and veteran performer.
The Pro Line basses are headless and have an unusual body shape with Sperzel tuners on the body. This bass has a single DiMarzio pickup, volume and tone controls and pickup coil tap switch all mounted on a black pickguard. I would guess it also features the Bunker's innovative tension free neck system.
