1969 GIBSON LES PAUL PRO'

The celebratory message was personally hand etched on this guitar at home, by a man considered to be the Father Of the Modern Electric Guitar and Inventor of many Studio Music recording processes. 

Back in the Day Of Supersonic Travel between London and New York,  

This guitar returned to the U.K. from New York  on a B.A. Concorde a long lamented service and superb British aircraft .

I have had this highly prized one of a kind guitar in my collection for around 10 years but now it's time to let go (

(with much regret).   I doubt there's another one out there anywhere with this unique association 

.   

Only 118 in total of these models are believed to have been shipped during the whole model lifespan 

This particular instrument and its story is certainly a one-off.
