Production of the Guild CE-100 CAPRI began in 1953 and ended in 1984. Initially the CE-100 Capri had a single coil pickup (a Guild "Frequency Tested" unit) this was replaced by single humbucker in 1962. The two pickup version was available as the CE-100D.
Guild have reissued the two pickup version of this guitar - the CE-100D Capri as part of the Newark Street Collection.
