The Larrivee P-09 is like the P-05 except with rosewood back and sides. Maple back and sides are also available (P-09 FM or with a sunburst top P-09 FM TSB). Inside the P-09 has symmetrical parabolic X-Bracing and a hand fitted dovetail neck joint, The headstock logo is pearl with a sterling silver border.
The Larrivee P-09 is the guitar Canadian astronaut Colonel Chris Hadfield used on the International Space Station.
