Introduced in 2004, the Spector Legend 4 Classic bass is part of the Korean made Spector Professional Series: designed to be affordable yet built using professional level materials and hardware.   

The original Legend 4 models had basswood bodies, gold hardware and EMG-HZ pickups, but by 2013 the Legend Classic features included:

The Spector Legend 5 is the 5-string version of the Legend 4 model. It has the NS style Spector body and is made in Korea. Some earlier models had EMG-HZ pickups but at some point the pickups were changed to SSD (Stuart Spector Designed) humbuckers - with a 9V active tone circuit.

Introduced in 2004, the Spector Legend 6 is the six string Legend bass. Early models have the EMG HZ pickups, later models have the SSD pickups (which are very similar to the EMGs). It has the Spector TonePump Junior tone circuit, with 9V active, bass and treble.

The Spector Rex 4 bass is endorsed by Rex Brown the Pantera bass player. As part of the Spector Professional Series this bass is the Korean made version of the Rex model. The Rex 4 Bass has a through body graphite-reinforced maple neck and Original Rex Brown designed body shape and quilted maple top. Pickups are EMG HZ  hum cancelling units (designed and built by EMG in their Santa Rosa, CA facility) with a 2-band  EQ. Finish options are Black stain or holoflash black.

The Spector Rex 5 is the 5 string version of the Spector Rex 4.
