PEAVEY made the DETONATOR AX from 1995 to 1998. It was similar to the Detonator model except with an alder body, dual blade humbucker in the middle postiion, Power Bend III tremolo and locking machine heads.

1995 | $900 | new | Custom AX | I had this custom made from Peavey on my 13th birthday back In February of 95, i believe it 900-950 , the first one had a Floydrose tremolo and locking nut, but it cracked. Not knowing much about guitars then, I had it shipped back and swapped out the bridge for the silver and black traditional tremolo |

Love this guitar still have it from when I had it costom made it 1995.
