The Hagstrom Fantomen (Swedish for The Fantom) came about as a collaboration between the design team at Hagstrom and Papa Emeritus and the Ghouls of the band Ghost. With a relatively thin 1 in. (3.5cm) body, the Fantomen is well balanced and surprisingly lightweight. A 25.5 in. (648mm) scale provides a slightly sharper attack and more sustain than classic 24.75 in. scale guitars. The Hagstom Alvar Compact Elf Warrior is named after a god from Norse mythology, the Alvar is the petite brother of the Hagstrom Viking. This semi-hollowbody is made of multi-ply maple, with a Canadian hard maple set neck.The Hagstrom Alvar uses a GraphTech Black Tusq XL 43 mm nut. The Hagstrom Ultra Max shares the same small body concept of the Ultra Swede, yet with a slightly larger proportioned mahogany body topped with a thick custom carved flame maple top. The body joins to a mahogany set neck with a mortise and tenon neck joint. The neck has 25.50 scale length, with Hagstrom's H-Expander truss-rod and composite Resinator fingerboard. Pickups are Custom 60 Alnico-5 with Aluminum Brushed covers, nylon coated wire united with an Alnico 5 magnet .
