The Ibanez RS924 was a Roadster Series bass introduced around 1981. The RS924 had an ash body with three-piece maple neck & fretboard. The pickups were Ibanez Super P4, Super J4 and controls were volume, passive tone, active bass & treble cut & boost with a two way switch for active/passive circuit, three way pickup selection switch.

Yamaha HR-I electric guitar

The Yamaha HR-I was a Super Live Series model from 1987. This model was not made for long and only distributed in Japan so they are relatively rare. There are plenty of extra electronics in this model: the Rockin Magic II tremolo bridge has a built in piezo pickup, the two humbucking pickups are also active, there is a built in compressor and even a built in chromatic tuner.

Takamine PB-30 acoustic bass

The Takamine PB-30 was an acoustic bass available in Japan in the mid to late 1990s. The PB-30 could be played on a strap, but also had an extendable floor spike which allowed you to play it like a traditional double bass. This model was available fretless (PB-30) or with frets (PB-30F). Finish was antique nutmeg satin.

The Fender CD-140SCE is a dreadnought cutaway with a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides. The CD-140SCE has a tortoise shell pickguard (on natural finished model) or a black pickguard (for black finished model), new mother-of-pearl rosette design, rosewood bridge with compensated Graphtech Nubone saddle, aged bridge pins with black dots, mother-of-pearl Fender logo headstock inlay, and small (3 mm) dot fingerboard inlays.

ZON VB4

Introduced around 2004, the Zon VB4 is a headless bass that evolved out of Michael Manring's 1993 Zon headless prototype bass. Although compact in size, the VB does not compromise on playability or tone, it is a full-scale, professional-quality instrument. The two piece swamp ash body and bolt-on composite neck in combination with the special ZB5 electronics and Bartolini pickups deliver a full, punchy and clear tone.

LTD JH-600 EC

The LTD JH-600 EC is the LTD version of the ESP Jeff Hanneman EC (Eclipse) model, built to Hanneman’s specifications. It features neck-thru-body construction at 24.75" scale, an alder body with arched top, a maple neck with ebony fingerboard, and 24 XJ frets. Components include EMG 81 (bridge) / EMG 85 (neck) active pickups. The LTD version does not have the EMG SPC Control found on the ESP model. The LTD model has Grover tuners and a Kahler Hybrid tremolo (compared with Gotoh tuners and Kahler 2315 on the ESP).

ESP JEFF HANNEMAN EC

The ESP Jeff Hanneman EC is a customized version of the popular ESP Eclipse model, built to Hanneman’s specifications. It features neck-thru-body construction at 24.75" scale, an alder body with arched top, a maple neck with ebony fingerboard, and 24 XJ frets. The Jeff Hanneman EC guitars have a traditional-style full body thickness but with a waist cut. Components include EMG 81 (bridge) / EMG 85 (neck) active pickups, and the ESP version includes an EMG SPC Control.

WASHBURN EC36 (SPITFIRE I & CHALLENGER I)

The Washburn EC36 model (also called the Spitfire I or Challenger I model depending on which catalog you look at) was introduced by WASHBURN in 1987. It was like the EC29 (with a Stephen's extended cutaway) but with a single humbucker and 36 frets. Above the 24th fret this model has compensated (thinner) fretwire to improve playability. There are some photos of EC36s (and EC29s) with monkey grips - I believe this was a factory option.

SMARTLIGHT 31 SERIES SILVER

The SmartLIGHT 31 Series (silver) was a nice enough telecater style electric built with and top of the line components. It's real selling point, however, was the FretLight system. Guitars with the FretLight system have LEDs embedded at each fretting position for each string. When connected to the Fretlight PLUS box this allows the fingering for chords, scales to light up on the fingerboard. By connecting to a computer with the SmartPORT 2- PC connection you could also jam along with MIDI tracks and interactive lessons.
