EPIPHONE JORMA KAUKONEN RIVIERA DELUXE (MODEL ETJK)

The first JORMA KAUKONEN RIVIERA DELUXE (MODEL ETJK) was produced by EPIPHONE in 2003. After being so impressed with the sound and quality of his friend Jack Casady’s signature bass, Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna decided that he wanted Epiphone to make his signature instrument too. Built to Jorma’s specifications, the Riv Deluxe sports, Epiphone ‘57 Classic, Alnico-V pickups, Gold hardware, Grover machine heads, Dot fret markers and Gold Licensed Bigsby Vibrato.

Epiphone Granada electric guitar

The EPIPHONE GRANADA model E444T is a hollow-bodied, thin-line, non-cutaway electric guitar made between 1962 and 1970. The single coil Melody-Maker pickup, both controls (volume and tone) and output jack are mounted on a white acrylic finger-rest pickguard. Tuners were deluxe enclosed plate-mounted units with oval buttons  A single cutaway version (the E444TC) was also available from 1965 to 1970. Epiphone described the  E-444T as follows in 1962:

EPIPHONE HOWARD ROBERTS HR-1

Epiphone Howard Roberts HR-1, electric guitar

The HOWARD ROBERTS HR-1 model was made by Samick for Epiphone between 1994 and 1998. It was a contemporary reissue of the 1960s Epiphone Howard Roberts model. The HR-1 had a floating mini-humbucker pickup and a hollow laminated curly maple body with oval soundhole. The peghead has a Howard Roberts signature and a tree-of-life inlay.

The Korean HR-1 replaced the Japanese made "1960s Howard Roberts" model in 1994 - both these reissue models came out after Howard Robert's death in 1992 so he would not have played them himself.
