Information: 

Amada is a brand name of the musical instrument maker Strunal Schönbach, based in Luby in the Czech Republic and founded in 1922. When it was privatised in 1992 Strunal began exporting Strunal and Amada branded guitars as well as Josef Jan Dvorak branded bowed instrument. Amada guitars were initially distrubuted in the USA by Geneva International Corporation (Wheeling, Illinois) until 1997 when Strunal set up its own subsidiary, Strunal America Inc (Mountainside, New Jersey) which became the sole supplier in North America.
